Lynda Waxman
Since coming to Jerusalem in 1985, I have taught English in high school, in the English preparation courses at the Hebrew University, at the Open University of Israel and at the British Council.
My special interests are preparing students for the TOEFL and IELTS test and for interviews and conferences and other professional and business purposes.
My experience has shown me that a relaxed, individual approach is the best way for my students to become confident in English speaking situations.

I have been teaching English to adults since I came to Israel in 1986.
When I was in the UK I taught French, German and Spanish to high school pupils and adults so know what it is like to learn and teach (and be taught) foreign languages.
I taught at the Hebrew University, the Open University of Israel, the British Council, Talpiot Teacher Training College in Tel Aviv and the David Yellin College of Education in Jerusalem.
My special interests are teaching academic writing and reading and helping students prepare for giving presentations in English at home and abroad.
I like to work with my student's current knowledge of English and improve it by talking and writing about topics that they need and enjoy in order to communicate effectively.
I believe that to learn a foreign language you need to enjoy the learning process and feel relaxed about doing so.
